Common questions

Which fees does AgFile collect?
Two fixed AgFile fees appear on this page: a $899 initiation fee, invoiced manually by AgFile after your 24-hour callback (with an activation code that unlocks your case), and a $2,199 admin fee, billed later when your case is run/actioned from the AgFile admin backend. All other line items — DOL filing fee, USCIS filing fee, SWA-determined fees, per-worker recruitment/visa fee, in-country transfer fee, and audit response fee — are itemized above. Their payee and frequency are spelled out next to each.
Are government fees included in the published prices?
No. Published pricing excludes government-determined SWA and USCIS filing fees, which are paid directly to those agencies by the employer. Government-owed line items (DOL, USCIS, State Workforce Agency) are shown with their payee marked as a government agency.
When is the $2,199 admin fee charged?
The admin fee is billed later, when your case is run/actioned from the AgFile admin backend — not at signup. If for any reason your case is not actioned, the admin fee is not charged.
What determines the per-worker, transfer, and audit fees?
Those per-case AgFile service fees are confirmed in writing during intake based on crop, season, worker count, and case complexity. Final amounts are itemized on your intake quote — never surprise-charged.
What does the farmer intake form look like? Do workers need to be involved?
The intake form captures farm details, job classification, wage rates, housing information, and season dates. Workers do not need to be present — you can file on their behalf once you have the job order approved. The form takes about 20–30 minutes to complete.
